d) Check out the competition. It is a good idea to avoid getting involved in a market that is too competitive.
Do a search on your favorite search engine, using the main keyword phrase of the online business you are building, and have a good look at some of the websites that come up on the first page of the search results. If you get involved in niches that are less competitive you will increase your chance of success.
